Ilana reached out to me after she and Crosby Doe sold the Sachs Apartments (R.M. Schindler) in 2013. The Falk Apartments two doors down had been owned by my family since 1965 and it was time to find a new caretaker. Ilana helped me with the sale of the building in 2015 and found the prefect buyer who had just finished a Schindler restoration in Studio City of the Goodwin house. I needed a 1031 exchange and Ilana guided me through the process which was completely new to me. She found an 8-unit building in Silver Lake and a condo in the Fuller Paint building in Lincoln Heights. I could not be happier with the handling of all the transactions!
